Hi you commented on my blog about whether I was learning Cantonese and what resources I use. Yes I am but still early days. Your Cantonese speaking must be pretty good because I could pick out the words I expect to understand after looking at the text . Hi Marcelo. You did well. I am happy that i can understand most of what you were saying. It’s good that you actually made a recording so that you can measure progress now and in the future. I agree there’s not a lot of material on Cantonese these days so keep up the good work.

You speak well but better read slower in those vocabularies that you are not familiar with. Since Chinese are composed of single words, Chinese reading emphasizes on accurate pronounciation and correct intonation on every single word.

你講得唔錯,但唔熟既字詞要讀慢D. 因為中文係由單字組成,讀中文要著重每個字”字正腔圓”
